HIGH PRESSURE FLUID FILLED
High Pressure Fluid Filled (HPFF) cable systems, also known as High Pressure Pipe Type (HPPT) or simply Pipe Type, consist of paper insulated cables encased in steel pipes and filled with dielectric oil maintained at high pressure (typically 200-300 psi). In this case, all 3 phases are housed inside a single pipe. HPFF is a legacy technology especially popular in the USA, where thousands of circuit miles are still in service to this day, which need to be maintained, repaired, upgraded, diverted, and eventually de-commissioned and removed.

- Dielectric fluid degassification with EHV’s 600 gph oil purification equipment
- Assembly of HPFF/HPGF cable terminations up to 345kV
- Installation of USi transition cable joints (HPFF to XLPE)
- Installation of HPFF stop and LPP cable joints
- Installation and commissioning of pumping plants

SELF CONTAINED FLUID FILLED (SCFF)/LOW PRESSURE OIL FILLED (LPOF)
Also known as Low Pressure Oil Filled (LPOF) consist of cables, joints and terminations with oil-impregnated paper dielectric insulation.

(XLPE)
Solid dielectric insulation technologies were developed during the latter part of the 20th century, as an alternative to paper/oil insulation for cable systems.
